Zhivago, born 2000, is a bay horse with a neat blaze and 3 white socks, 8 years old, educated to ride, who left at least a son & a daughter at the Cameo Stud in South Queensland, before being imported as a 3 year old. He is a filly getter- having left only 5 colts, & at least 11 fillies so far.
His sire ~ 'Cedardell Zanzibar' is a tall 15.2hh grey athletic horse who has sired many top endurance horses, many of whom have been exported to the Middle East, including the mare Cameo Zinnia who won the BEST HORSE Award in the UAE for 2006-7.
His dam ~ 'Cameo Fifinella' is also a nice tall lean athletic type of pure Crabbet lines. Zhivago's got a dash of Polish blood thru' his paternal granddam Zaria. He is a very curious fellow who likes to come up & investigate new things.
We're delighted with the progeny he has left us. His daughter Al Dahab Brioletta owned by Christine Gill who has shown her in-hand with great success, was on the cover of the December Horse & Pony magazine. His eldest NZ-born daughter A.D Hanara is owned by Hugh Kelly, manager of the Rhodium Stud.
